Out on the Range

Guest post written by Dan Harris

I always thought I’d be restless when I retired. But really, I’m finding that I’m a lot more active now than ever!

Several months ago, I got in touch with a few of my other retired friends, and I proposed that we all take up a new hobby. They were all enthusiastic, and one had a brilliant idea—he suggested we all take up golf.

That was it—it was settled. He also suggested we try a driving range before we waste money paying to be members of a certain course, and I agreed. We went to the nearest range and practiced hitting with a variety of clubs to see what had the best hit.

It’s funny—while we were all standing there practicing our drives, the topic of hearing aids came up. I’ve known these guys for a while, so it’s funny that that’s what gets us talking now. We used to talk about women when we were young and now we talk about the great deals we found on HearingAids.Miracle-Ear.

After a day at the range, we started looking pretty good. We decided to go back one more time before we go on the course. I can’t wait to get these skills down.
