New Driver on the Freeway

This afternoon while I was driving home after work it was raining hard so I stopped in a parking lot and waiting for the rain to slow down. It scares me to drive my car in heavy rain on the freeway. I am not that good a driver yet. After a few minutes of waiting in the parking lot the rain slowed down I waited so long I almost took a nap while waiting. While I was on my way to go home I was laughing at myself because some parts of the road were very dry because there was no rain in that area and the traffic was flowing nicely. I hope tomorrow there is no more rain so that I can drive without any fears. I am a new driver on the freeway.
