It was cold last night

Last night was cold and windy I was shaking from the cold when I sat down in my car to drive. I never thought that it was going to be that cold last night so I did not bring my heavy coat. It takes the heater in my car a few minutes to warm up; I could feel the heat in my car when I was almost home. This afternoon before I go to work I will make sure to bring my heavy coat or else I will be cold again. It is hard to drive while your hands and knees are shaking. I know it is my fault I should check the weather before I leave the house. Sometimes my husband is kind enough to remind me about the weather.
