Looking for other job

This morning I got up early because I wanted to apply for another job. I want a job where I work in the morning so that I will be home in my children in the afternoon when my husband goes to work. My friend was with me because we both want a better job. I know we are lucky that at least I am still working because the US employment is high now. When we arrived to our destination they gave us only the application form to fill out and said that we should return them as soon as we complete them. They asked for reference from my present employer but I do not want to tell my employer that I am trying to find another job. I think I will wait and think about it first.
