we got a ticket

Every Sunday my husband mows our yard. He wants to make sure that our yard will be neat and looking good he also does not want the City to complain. The city worker is always driving around the neighborhood checking yards and before you know there is a ticket on your front door. But this week we got a ticket not for the grass but for our trees. They say it needs to be trimmed because it is hanging over the sidewalk and it is above their minimum clearance. That is funny since we planned to cut it this weekend but they are quick to hand us a ticket.
